1. Information We Collect Account data: Your name, email address, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash — we never see your plain password). Audio recordings: Audio you record is sent to our server solely to generate AI feedback. It is deleted from our servers immediately after analysis and is never stored permanently. Session data: Transcripts, pronunciation feedback, vocabulary words, and drill scores are stored so you can track your progress. Payment data: Payments are processed by Razorpay. We store only your plan status and expiry date — no card numbers are ever stored on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to provide and improve SpeakCoach — delivering personalised pronunciation feedback, tracking your progress, and processing your subscription. We do not use your data for advertising.

Payments: Razorpay
Sign-in: Google OAuth
Each provider's own privacy policy governs how they handle data sent to them.
4. Data Retention
Your account and session data are retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us — we will remove your data within 7 business days.
5. Security
Passwords and OTP reset codes are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment data is handled exclusively by Razorpay's PCI-compliant infrastructure.
6. Your Rights

7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of SpeakCoach after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using SpeakCoach, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
SpeakCoach is an AI-powered English pronunciation coaching tool. It records your voice, analyses it using AI, and provides feedback and drills to help improve your spoken English.
3. Free & Paid Plans
Free users receive 2 coaching sessions per day. Paid users (₹99/month) receive unlimited sessions for 30 days from the date of payment. There is no automatic renewal — you must manually repurchase to continue paid access after 30 days.
4. Payments & Refunds
All payments are processed securely via Razorpay in Indian Rupees (INR). Due to the digital nature of the service, payments are non-refundable once access has been granted, except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days.
5. Acceptable Use
You must not misuse SpeakCoach by attempting to bypass usage limits, reverse-engineer the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
SpeakCoach is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that AI feedback will be error-free. The service is intended as a learning aid, not a substitute for professional language instruction.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpeakCoach's total liability for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
